Daily Message 10.6.11

Motivational Quote of the Day:
"An idealist is a person who
helps other people to be prosperous."
— Henry Ford: Was the founder of the Ford Motor Company

Abraham-Hicks Publications:
Is it an employment "opportunity" or bondage? Because what you really want is freedom, many of you equate working for other people as bondage. But if you would realize that the corporation, as an entity, is not so different from the individual, it might be easier to understand the employer's decisions. Long before the buildings or the workers, the visionary of the corporation had an idea for something that began summoning Energy. So years later maybe you are hired as a part of that team and, without realizing it, you are now the beneficiary of that continuing flowing Energy. When you step into one of those employment positions, Life Force is summoned through you because of the vision of the founder—unless you're bucking the current. Most get into that fast moving stream and paddle against the current—and then complain about it being a hard ride—where they could get into their canoe and easily paddle with the fast moving current. You can soar and thrive in any environment as long as you are not seeing things that you are using as your reason to paddle against the current. And so, it doesn't really matter what others are deciding. The questions is: "As I am choosing to stand here, it's a way for dollars to flow through me in exchange for the effort I am offering. Am I predominantly letting the Energy flow through me, or not? Am I letting it in?

Daily Feng Shui Tip:

I want to give you a head start on celebrating silliness on today's 'Mad Hatter Day.' I bet ten shillings sixpence that you already know that the Mad Hatter is a character from Lewis Carroll's 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.' But do you know where the term 'mad hatter' or 'mad as a hatter' actually came from? It appears that in the early eighth century mercury was used in hat making. Because of this process, commonly called 'carroting,' mercury poisoning became something of an occupational health hazard and actually did drive some hatters mad. So let's stay away from the hats today and use our heads to activate and heal the brain. Feng Shui says that engaging in a meditation called 'Beating the Heavenly Drum' will not only help to heal your head and brain, but will also improve your hearing and memory. This exercise additionally stimulates the kidneys and gives you greater energy during the day. Rub your palms together until they are hot to the touch. Then place your palms gently over your ears and firmly press so that you create a suction. Allow your fingers to rest on the back of your head and neck, pointing at each other with your index fingers at the base of your skull and your thumbs resting on the side of your neck. Place your index fingers on top of your middle fingers and then press until they flick off each other. Do this quickly so that they hit the base of your skull with a tapping rhythm. You will hear a 'drum beat' resounding inside your head. Do this alternatively, flicking first the left and then the right index finger in rapid succession while listening to the internal drum beating. Keep your palms pressed over your ears and flick both index fingers nine or twenty-seven times. It sounds crazy, but use your head. After all, it is 'Mad Hatter Day.'

Daily Dream Decoder:
Balding

Losing hair or becoming suddenly and completely bald are two common dream events. Often dreams of this nature reflect concern about your attractiveness or sexual virility. If you are forcibly shaved during your dream, this may be a concern over sterilization, as hair often plays a significant role in male gender identity.
For many men and some women, the loss of hair in dreams may also reveal anxiety about growing old. Even if the dreamer is not showing signs of balding in waking life, he may lose his hair in an age-anxiety dream.
Yet another possible interpretation of hair loss in a dream is the feeling that an illness of some sort may be imminent.
Daily Wish:
When you see a bathtub you've never seen before, you can make a wish if it points north/south. When entering a room you've never been in before, you can make a wish if the floorboards run north/south.
