Daily Feng Shui Tip:

They are the backbone of society. They take on the big tasks for small salaries and sometimes even less support and recognition. They do it because they are called to it. I am, of course, talking about teachers. So on a day that honors all teachers, I am humbled to offer some Feng Shui schooling on how to honor the brightest among them. And, yes, Mister Chivaz Pruitt, ninth grade English teacher at Princess Anne High School, these kudos include you. Today's 'World Teacher's Day' is a time to reflect on the enormity of the job teachers take on. Tasked with educating and offering insights to the next generations of students, this is the one profession that I honor above all others! Bringing an apple to a teacher that you respect and admire today might just make you more than teacher's pet, since apples have long been believed to hold many magical powers. Long considered the 'fruit of the gods,' the apple is thought to hold the key to love and healing. The apple is also a symbol of immortality. In olden times, a branch of an apple tree which bore buds, flowers and fully ripened fruit was carried as a magical charm to allow life to be sweet and fruitful. Cutting an apple in half and sharing it with a loved one is believed to bring true and everlasting love. Rubbing an infected or ailing part of the body with three apples slices and then burying them outside is believed to banish the illness. So bringing an apple to a teacher today does more than just make your mark, it wishes a life filled with the Three Great Blessings of Feng Shui: Health, Happiness and Prosperity. Today try to give back just a small taste of the tremendous energies that teachers offer students every day! To all teachers everywhere, God bless you every one!

Daily Dream Decoder:
Helicopter

The helicopter is an interesting object in our culture. Originally, it was thought that the helicopter would replace the car someday. However, prices never came down, leaving the helicopter as an icon of wealth or authority. Since the Vietnam War, helicopters have become more associated with conflict than commuting.
To dream of a helicopter probably means that you envision yourself in a situation of potential hazard or needing to be whisked away from your present circumstances. The former would be expressed in a helicopter as a means of escape. The latter equates images of romance and wealth.

Daily Wish:
If you find a frog when the moon is full, make an 'X' on the frog's head with a wet finger. Look at the moon and make three wishes.
(Wales)
If you hear a frog at the midnight hour, immediately make a cross with your finger, first on the back of one hand and then on the back of the other; then make a wish.
