Motivational Quote of the Day from Nightingale.com
"Business schools make a fortune forcing their students to take in a HUGE amount of information. The majority of it is theoretical. The majority of that is useless."

Spiritual versus Material are not the choices. Everything about this physical manifestational experience is spiritual. It is all the end product of spirit. You have nothing to prove. Be the spiritual you and create like a physical fiend.

Every time you want something and achieve vibrational harmony with it and allow it to come to you, you not only gain the satisfaction of having accomplished your desire, you also gain a whole new perspective from which to desire.

Most people don't think that new-born children could be the Creator of their own reality, because they are not even talking yet. But the Universe is not responding to your language anyway. The Universe is responding to your vibration, and your vibration is about the way you feel.

If there is something that you have to do, resist the temptation to do it under duress. Ask yourself, "What's the worst thing that would happen if I didn't do this?" And if you can get away with not doing it at all, don't do it. And then imagine what would it feel like to have this done. Spend a day or two, if you can, just 15 minutes here, 5 minutes here, 2 minutes here, here and here, imagining it completed in a way that pleases you! And then, the next time you decide that you're going to take action about it, the action is going to be a whole lot easier.

The beasts that came before you, who banged around on this planet, denoted at cellular conscious and unconscious levels, their preferences. And that is how the atmosphere was prepared for you. They did not write one thing on their "things to do today" pads. They just be'd and perceived and concluded and asked vibrationally. And the Universe expanded as a result of their willingness to have exposure to the contrast. And you are not different from them. You have no greater responsibility than they did. The contrast produces the desire within you, and the Universe expands as a result of it. The only question is, the question that we want so much to answer is, are you letting it in? Are you letting yourself experience the benefit of your precious focus and your vast experience in the here and now? You'll never get it done. You cannot get it wrong. So don't you think it's time for you to lighten up and start having more fun with all of this, and accept that you are Eternal Beings? And since you are Eternal Beings, then there's no point in rushing, because there's never going to be a time when you don't exist.

You are the creator of your own life experience, and as the creator of your experience, it is important to understand that it is not by virtue of your action, not by virtue of your doing—it is not even by virtue of what you are saying—that you are creating. You are creating by virtue of the thought that you are offering.
You cannot speak or offer action without thought-vibration occurring at the same time; however, you are often offering a thought-vibration without offering words or action. Children or babies learn to mimic the vibration of the adults who surround them long before they learn to mimic their words.

Other's Opinion Are Less Important Than My Personal Guidance System... You did not intend to use the opinions of your parents to measure against your beliefs, desires, or actions in order to determine the appropriateness of them. Instead, you knew (and still remembered, long after you were born) that it was the relationship between the opinion (or knowledge) of the Source within you and your current thoughts, in any moment, that would offer you perfect guidance in the form of emotions. You did not intend to replace your Emotional Guidance System with the opinions of your parents even if they were in harmony with their Emotional Guidance System in the moment of their trying to guide you. It was much more important to you to recognize the existence of your own Guidance System, and to utilize it, than to be deemed correct by, or to find approval from, others.

All the resources you will ever want or need are at your fingertips. All you have to do is identify what you want to do with it, and then practice the feeling-place of what it will feel like when that happens. There is nothing you cannot be or do or have. You are blessed Beings; you have come forth into this physical environment to create. There is nothing holding you back, other than your own contradictory thought. And your emotion tells you you're doing that. Life is supposed to be fun—it is supposed to feel good! You are powerful Creators and right on schedule. Savor more; fix less. Laugh more; cry less. Anticipate positively more; anticipate negatively less. Nothing is more important than that you feel good. Just practice that and watch what happens. There is great love here for you. We are complete.

Daily Feng Shui Tip from Astrology.com

Today's 'Be Late for Something Day' energies will probably describe this first day of school for many parents who have trouble getting the kids out the door in a timely and peaceful manner. Therefore, in order not to be late for anything, getting prepped for today might take a bit of planning. That means kids should start getting into some sort of routine a few weeks before school officially begins. Waiting until the final twenty-four hours before the alarm goes off probably won't work. So a few weeks before school starts, start waking your student a bit closer to the time that they will eventually be rising on a daily basis. If getting your wunderkind to bed earlier poses a problem you might want to use a blend of lavender and chamomile essential oils to calm the child and help them stay quiet and content. Put ten drops of the two oils in a spray bottle and fill with distilled or spring water. Spray around the sleeping space at least twenty minutes before bedtime and you'll be giving the Sandman a huge helping hand. Whatever you do, make sure that all electronics and technology are turned off at bedtime. The electromagnetic frequencies from appliances, computers and televisions can impact the sleeping student in a disruptive way, so keeping stimulation to a minimum before bed will make for a rested and ready student in the morning!

Daily Dream Decoder from Astrology.com

Boats

Depending on your experience with them, boats can represent riches, travel, isolation, danger, romance, or complete and utter frustration. Rowboats and canoes are often found on fairly placid lakes and streams. In dreams, they may be way out of context on the high seas, therefore implying a kind of broken peace. Normally, the setting of the boat says much about its symbolic meaning. Different types of boats may vary in meaning, but possible options include isolation, danger, escape, and romance.
Sailboats often appear in similar environs as rowboats, but tend to mean either riches or frustration: sailboats can be very affluent and romantic to the dreamer, however, being dead in the water for lack of wind is another option.
Power boats often show a sense of power, control, wealth, competition, or travel. Danger is not often a problem, except in cases of failed motors.
Sinking boats can reveal a fear of water, drowning, or incompetence. More often, they are a metaphor for feelings about a particular aspect of life. To determine this, look at who is on the boat or conspicuously absent from it. Also, see if the reason it is sinking, which may seem nonsensical, is available in the dream.
Is the boat one that you recognize? Is the general feeling one of happiness and leisure or one of fear and anxiety?
Eagle

The eagle is an important Native American symbol, as well as having a place in the ancient literature of Greeks and Hebrews. All these images exist in our common-day lore on roughly equal terms.
The eagle is a symbol of great wisdom and vision in the lore of Navajo and Crow Native American legend. As such, it is often associated as a sacred emblem that sets the dreamer apart for special uses by the Great Spirit.
In Hebrew and Greek literature, the eagle is a symbol of power. Given its great size and strength, eagles were able to remove even small livestock from the herds. This gave the eagle a persona of majesty, power, and fear. To dream of the eagle is to be spiritually validated as a person of great wisdom and insight concerning both this world and the spiritual realities beyond the comprehension of this world.
Bridges

Bridges are interesting symbols in relationships. We often speak of crossing and burning bridges as representations of the opportunities and challenges of life.
Does the bridge cost anything to cross?
Is it a secure or precarious bridge to cross?
Is there a known destination, or is it a bridge to an uncertain future? Do you have particular feelings about yourself as you cross or upon completion of crossing the bridge?
Your answers to these questions may reveal a transition you perceive in your life and your feelings about it.
The act of building a bridge is another way to encounter bridges in dreams. (Are you building the bridge to create an opportunity or to escape from trouble?)
The destruction of a bridge is yet another bridge encounter. (What are you becoming separated from and how do you feel about that separation? Are you participating in the bridge destruction or being victimized by it?)
Shared Dreams

There are two kinds of dreams that fall into this category: mutual and concurrent. In each case, two or more people dream of similar characters and activities. What differentiates them are the means by which the dreams occur. In mutual dreaming, the dreamers intentionally develop a desire to experience a shared dream through incubation. However, in concurrent dreams, the dreamers had no idea their content would be similar going into the night's rest.
Mutual dreaming is an intentional movement toward influencing dream content. This discipline allows dreamers to design psychic meeting grounds for subconscious awareness of one another. This can be a seedbed for finding new facets in a relationship, from the ordinary to the sensual.
It is often quite interesting to get together with your mutual dreamer friend(s) and compare dreams. The best way to do this is for both or all of you to write down what you dreamt about the subject in question, then share the essays.
Concurrent dreams are often discovered by chance. You may be telling a friend about a dream you had, using vivid details, when all of a sudden she reveals that she had the same exact dream. This is a rare and mysterious occasion indeed!
Courtyard

For some reason, many people have buildings with courtyards or atriums in their dreams. This may just be so much scenery, as we tend to like such things architecturally. Often times, these dreams reflect a desire to return to a more renewing or living place.
The courtyard can also be a womb image. As such, it can represent you getting back to your life source. It may be a sense on your part of mother power coming into the situation that has brought you to the courtyard. In these cases, you may be looking at the courtyard as a place of nurture or interference.
Saints or Sacred Figures

Saints and other sacred human figures in our dreams often appear as heralds of benevolence or as the morality police. While many times these are positive dream experiences, the dreams can also leave a feeling that perhaps you are not doing all you can to be an agent of good in the world. The dream may be inspiration to involve yourself in a particular cause through hands-on work or financial donations.
The moral side of the dream is often a judgment on current lifestyle choices. When your psyche is in conflict between the desires of the id and the restraint of the superego, the superego can marshal symbols of judgment to strengthen its position. Often these will arrive under very peculiar circumstances. A dream of sexual desire may suddenly find the object of its desire cloaked in the garb of a priest, pastor, rabbi, policeman, or a particularly strict third-grade teacher you may have had.
If a saintly figure in your dream suddenly turns into a demon of some sort, or begins to resonate emotions that are non-traditional from such a figure, perhaps it is a sign that you need to check your morals concerning a situation in waking life.
Does the saintly figure in your dream appear as a helper or emotional benefactor, or does the character seem to be coming down on you as a law-enforcing authority figure?
Water / Flood

Water is central to the human story. Whether it is the deep, fresh lake, the river that brings life, or the ocean that must claim her dead, water is both friend and enemy at once. When dreams contain this powerful image in any of its forms, understanding the role of the water is essential.
Water is a strong symbol in dreams because so often it is the exclamation point of the feelings in the dream. If other objects in a dream are relaxing, a bubbling brook through a meadow is more relaxing. If some symbols generate feelings of fear or anxiety, the tumultuous ocean creates the most anxiety. Water has symbolic, archetypal meaning in that it either provides life, or harbors mystery and danger. This is a reflection of our human experiences with water.
In early human history, the hunter-gatherers quickly learned that water was the central ingredient of life. (We die of thirst much more quickly than we starve.) More importantly, to know where the water was meant knowing where the food was.
However, as commerce expanded water became a necessary evil that harbored unknown dangers. Water travel was dangerous and uncertain as sea creatures, storms, and rough seas claimed numerous voyagers. Polluted water affected livestock and spread disease.
To emphasize the positive, water is often a symbol of new life, refreshment, and vigor. Water in manageable amounts or controlled settings almost always conveys this sentiment to the dreamer. Controlled water is the key.
If a dream contains a lake, is the entire shoreline visible and likely attainable?
If a river or creek is dreamed of, is it within its banks and apparently traversable by usual means? These are all examples of controlled water.
Water presented in this way is often indicative of renewal. For example, while traveling and growing weary, the dreamer suddenly happens upon a creek.
Refreshment for the journey is close at hand. Perhaps a dreamer is out on a boat, moving over the water gently. One should anticipate a season of respite or sabbatical in life, or perhaps create an opportunity such as this intentionally.
Uncontrolled water will often create a sense of unease for a dreamer. Raging rivers, rapids, and lakes without borders often reflect being out of control of one's circumstances. Still deep water, while sometimes refreshing, may also create unease. This is because of the murkiness or uncertainty of what lies below the surface.
One exception to the generalities listed above is water faucets. In a dream, it is important to recognize if the dreamer or another is controlling the faucet and whether this is done to effect the comfort or discomfort of the dreamer. If the dreamer is controlling the faucet ineffectively, the assumption may be made that the dreamer feels out of control or unable to master what should be apparently simple circumstances (or, what's worse, perhaps there is no water to be had). If another controls the faucet, one may conclude that the dreamer feels his circumstances, for good or ill, are dependent on the whimsy of another. This whimsy may reflect either greater discomfort or comfort, whether it is an unpredictable boss, lover, or other significant relationship.
Separation

Separation can relate to abandonment, marriage, friendship, career, or geographic upheaval. Many times, the subconscious impulses of personality are less mature in their problem-solving than the conscious, waking self. The function of ego is to filter these impulses so they do not get out into waking life. However, since the ego is turned off in sleeping, the immaturity of the id will have us walking away from our marriages, jobs, friendships, etc. at the drop of a hat.
Being separated is different than being quarantined, abandoned, or quitting in that it is often mutual. In dreams, other characters can be more cooperative, since it is our subconscious that is controlling their actions.
Who or what were you separated from in the dream, and did it seem like a permanent or temporary condition?
Was the separation easily decided, or was it gut-wrenching?
