gratify some people and astonish the rest."

Physical experience is the leading edge of thought. The furtherest extension of that thought. You are not at the beginning. You are here on the leading edge, living the manifestation of thought. And as you expose yourself to the contrast within the manifestation, you don new desires which then summons the Life Force. --- Abraham

Daily Feng Shui Tip
It's 'National Popcorn Day,' an entire day devoted to the one 'date' that has kept me company at almost every movie that I've ever watched. Actually, corn has played a pivotal role in the cultures and traditions of Central and North America for thousands of years. The Mayans and the Native American Navajo believed that the first humans were actually created out of corn. In fact, the Mayans, Incans, Aztecs and every almost every Native American Indian not only ate corn but, because of their belief in corn's sacred nature, they also wove it into their religious ceremonies, rites and rituals. The 'Corn Mother' was embraced by those ancient cultures as a widely worshipped symbol of fertility, eternity and resurrection. Blue corn is often considered to be the most sacred of the colored corns, but every color held some sort of sacred significance to these pre-Columbian cultures. One time-tested ritual handed down from the Ozarks tells how to use corn to end hiccups. This Old Wives' tradition says that you should name three kernels of corn for three friends and put them into a container of water. Then, whenever you have hiccups, hold this vessel above your head and the hiccups will disappear. Placing ears of red corn in floor baskets is believed to keep the home free from harm, while hanging dried ears of corn on the front door in autumn is known to bring both fortune and good luck. Use some dried corn as a gratitude offering anywhere outside today and say a prayer that this sacred staple will never be in short supply and will always help to feed the world.

Department Stores and Malls
The department store is the personification of capitalism. Many people enjoy just wandering through stores and malls to experience the numerous choices. However, they can be a little overwhelming.
Dreaming of these places reflects a feeling of having choices or even too many choices. It may also be a reminder that you have not been careful with your money of late.
Depending on your status as a potential buyer, being in a mall may reflect your sense of power or competency given the choices you have. If the choices all reflect items you would find in a waking-world store or mall, the items you are most drawn to may be the objects of central meaning in a dream. The salespeople you are bumping into may be significant if they are familiar. Perhaps you feel as though you owe somebody something or someone expects particular actions from you.
Are the items that you want missing or available in abundance? This may be a metaphor of the balance, or lack thereof, in facets of your life.
Are clerks unable to assist you in finding your needs? Perhaps you are looking outside yourself for growth that can only come from within.
Daily Wish
Should you hear an owl hoot, you may make a wish for wisdom.
Another custom says that your wish must be for wisdom about a particular decision or issue.
